Bake or Die Doctor
A-tier squad heal at 75 Gold Nuggets: stronger bandages, Revive Kit, night regen, and splash heals. Skip it on true solo.
Doctor is Bake or Die’s 75 Gold Nugget squad healer. You buy it in the lobby Class Shop, you spawn with 6x Bandage, 6x First Aid Kit, and a Revive Kit, and the kit exists so a 32-player diner gets back up instead of spectating the generator. It ranks A on the class tier list. A means essential in a group and overpay on a true solo. Medic at 15 is the trap that looks like the same job. Medic is C. Doctor is the real heal row. Big Bakers added Doctor on 4 April 2026 with the Easter window (confirmed Discord / liltreeha). The diner launched 5 April 2025, still updates, still has no codes, still spends Gold Nuggets in the lobby and Cash on pies inside a run.
If your squad already drops in the funnel, 75 Nuggets here beats a second Gunslinger. If you play alone and never revive anyone, buy Juggernaut at 30 and Gunslinger at 65 instead. The class picker is the short version of that fork. Full numbers live on the class roster.
Starter kits and why Medic is a trap
Doctor’s hotbar is medical. You still buy a Revolver. Heals do not delete Night 8. They buy time for the person with the SMG. Keep Cash for guns and turret plates. A Doctor who never shoots is a moving crate of bandages, which is still better than a dead Gunslinger, and still worse than a Doctor who also holds the door.
Medic costs 15 Nuggets, starts with 4x Bandages, and heals those bandages +50% at level 1 with slow night regen later. Doctor costs 75, starts with six bandages, six first aid, a Revive Kit, +75% bandage healing, doubled Revive Kit chest luck, night regen, and splash heals at level 3. The 60 Nugget gap is the whole point. Beginner guides repeat it because people still buy Medic and then ping for a revive that the kit cannot print.
Revive Kits are how a Blood Moon stays a scare instead of a lobby. Doctor level 2 doubles the chest drop chance. You still have to walk to the downed player. You still have to not die in the same pile. The kit is not a remote ress.
Level perks
Level 1. Bandages give +75% more health. This is on immediately, which is why 75 Nuggets is a real squad buy and not a costume. A bandage that actually fills a bar is the difference between one more Night 4 hold and a repair morning.
Level 2. Revive Kit drop chance in chests increased by 2x. Slowly heals at night. Now you are the reason the squad does not run out of ress after one wipe. Night regen is personal; it does not replace funnel discipline. Read Survive Nights so you are not regen-tanking a four-door street.
Level 3. Healing another player also heals nearby allies for 25% of the amount. This is the packed-door perk. One bandage in the clump is a group tick. Level 1 Doctor is a strong medic. Level 3 Doctor is why the letter is A instead of “expensive Medic.”
Creator lists sometimes show the starter pile as bandages plus first aid plus revive already at level 1. Treat the shop row as the source and the levels as the multipliers. If a patch retunes bandage shop prices (the 18 July 2026 window moved bandage cost 10 to 25 and healing 25 to 20), your kit still scales on top of the new item. Check Patch Notes after a Discord drop.
Squad slot versus solo spine
Solo spine: Juggernaut 30, Gunslinger 65, Bombastica 250. Doctor is a detour on that account. Double HP and reload perks keep you in the run without a revive target.
Squad spine: one damage kit (Gunslinger, Bombastica, or Gladiator), one Doctor, optionally Technician at 45 for turrets or Exterminator at 55 for door poison. Do not stack four Doctors. Cash is shared; Nuggets are not. Coordinate who owns the 75 so you are not three medics with empty Explosive Meat.
Food Factory raids want a Doctor more than they want a fourth melee. Grimcrust, Vincent, and the Fermented One are long enough that a down without a Revive Kit is a reset. Beat Bosses already calls Doctor for the scientist. Believe that line.
Wizard level 2 buffs healing spells. That is not this job. Wizard is 600 Nuggets. Doctor is 75. If you wanted heals, pay 75.
How to play the class
Day: bake enough Cash to restock kits and a gun. You are not Baker; you still fill six slots. Rescue NPCs when the oven is on. Chests matter more to you than to Bombastica because Revive Kits hide in them. Walk the map with a gun teammate, not as a solo loot goblin while the shelf is empty.
Night: stand one step off the funnel, not in the spike line. Heal the plate (Juggernaut or Gladiator) first. Save Revive Kits for the Blood Moon, not for a Night 1 slap. Call when you are restocking so the door does not think you left. A Doctor who AFKs in the fridge is Medic with extra steps.
Squad comms: who is down, who has a kit, who is on the generator. 32 players can still wipe if everyone assumes someone else has the ress.
When 75 Nuggets is a mistake
You play true solo. You already own Medic and think the upgrade is cosmetic. You wanted damage and bought the white coat because A-tier sounded like S. You skipped Juggernaut and Gunslinger to own a Revive Kit you never use. Repairman at 20 is a different support mistake. Doctor is only correct when someone else is allowed to die.
The 6 September 2026 stamp did not add a code that refunds Medic. Farm nuggets for the 75, not a YouTube string.
The bandage pile is a 75 Nugget receipt for a diner that actually revives. Level splash heals, spend kits on Blood Moons, and stop buying Medic because it was on sale in your head. Heals that never land on a teammate are just a slower Gunslinger with extra inventory on a 32-player night.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for diner nights, classes, and pie sells.
How much does Doctor cost?
75 Gold Nuggets in the lobby Class Shop. Cash cannot buy it and there is no promo code. Equip it before you join the server.
Should solo players buy Doctor?
Usually no. Buy Juggernaut at 30 and Gunslinger at 65 first. Doctor is the squad heal. True solo gets more from HP and guns.
Why not buy Medic instead?
Medic at 15 is a weaker bandage kit. Doctor at 75 brings stronger heals, Revive Kits, night regen, and splash healing at level 3.
What does each Doctor level do?
Level 1: bandages heal +75%. Level 2: 2x Revive Kit chest luck and slow night regen. Level 3: healing a teammate also heals nearby allies for 25%.
When was Doctor added?
4 April 2026 with the Easter window (Discord / liltreeha). Manual reloading and a new wave system shipped in the same patch.
Is Doctor good for Food Factory?
Yes as the squad ress. The raid is long enough that a down without a Revive Kit is a reset. See Food Factory.
