Bake or Die Zombies
Thirteen night-spawn types, what they drop, when they appear, and why Fire Zombies keep Bombastica loaded.
Bake or Die by Big Bakers is still a live Roblox diner: 32-player online co-op, released 2025-04-05, last Roblox stamp 2026-09-06. Zombies do not wander the desert all day. They spawn at night, walk the diner, and whatever you fail to shoot burns at sunrise. Corpses do not. This page is the catalog of what walks, what it drops when you grind it, and why Fire Zombies are ammo for Bombastica instead of junk meat. Pair it with Pie Recipes for slot math, Survive Nights for the funnel, and the map when a variant only exists in one building.
Night spawn, grind, spoil
Night is the farm. Day is the kitchen. A 32-player server that splits into the sand at dusk does not get more drops — it gets a breached generator. Hold one door. Kill on the funnel. At sunrise, leftover undead burn and you run this order before anyone starts a house tour: collect every corpse, grind it, bake six-slot pies, then craft and shop. Spoiled meat is Cash you will never see. Blood Moon nights (every five nights) dump extra bodies; that is a baking windfall only if you collect before the meat turns.
Read the head before you shoot. Produce-headed and elemental variants telegraph the grind. Standard crawlers and tanks all mill Zombie Meat. Modified heads are the premium row. Cash from pies is shared on the server. Gold Nuggets stay in the lobby and buy classes. Killing a Banana Zombie for a Roblox badge does not pay the Gunsmith, and it does not redeem a code — Bake or Die still has no code box as of September 2026.
Enemy catalog
| Type | Drop / why it matters | When it shows |

| Fast | Yeast. Premium filler, not a different meat. | Early-mid nights |
| Fire | Explosive Meat. Kaboom Cannon ammo. | Regular nights; guaranteed nightly on Bombastica Level 1 |
| Banana | First kill unlocks the official Roblox Gone Bananas badge. | Uncommon overworld variant |
| Carrot-Headed | Carrots. Premium pie filler. | Mid nights |
| Strawberry | Strawberry filler for fruit tins. | Fruit-themed / mid-late packs |
| Eggplant | Eggplant filler. | Added 25 April 2026 |
| Orange | Orange filler. | Added 25 April 2026 |
| Mushroom | Mushroom ingredient. | Evergreen Science Facility, 28 March 2026 |
| Golden Carrot | Golden Carrots. Rare upgrade slots. | Bank / Vault, 2 May 2026 |
| Sewer Rat | Cheese, Rat Meat. | Sewers, Day 11+ |
| Thief Rat | Same sewer grind; travels with the pack. | Sewers, Day 11+ |
| Radioactive Rat | Radioactive Rat Meat. High-value slots. | Sewers, Day 11+ |
| Peanut | Factory / bounty-window filler. Community footage. | July 2026 Food Factory / Bounty Hunter window |
Thirteen named types plus the fast/Yeast row is the live list this wiki can defend. Bosses are not on this table — Evil Chicken, Biggie Cheese, the Mad Scientist, and Food Factory raids live on Beat Bosses. Fast zombies are still a night-spawn, just a premium slot instead of a new meat name.
Fire Zombies and Bombastica
Bombastica at 250 Gold Nuggets is the reason Fire Zombies are a class feature instead of flavor. Level 1 guarantees a Fire Zombie every night and boosts explosive-pie radius. Grind Explosive Meat, mix one Explosive Meat + one Zombie Meat, and you have an Explosive Pie. That two-slot tin is Kaboom Cannon ammo, not a $55 sale. Keep a hopper for the cannon and sell the rest as six-slot Savory or premium mixes. Do not dump every explosive tin on the shelf if your Bombastica is dry before a Blood Moon. Level 3 Overcharge still wants pies in the hopper when the buff starts.
If nobody on the 32-player server owns Bombastica, Explosive Meat is still a premium slot. It is not a reason to chase fire into the desert while the funnel leaks. Shoot the Fire Zombie on your terms, haul the corpse with the rest of the pile, and let the baker sort Explosive from Savory.
Area-gated variants
Overworld nights teach Standard, Fire, Banana, Carrot-Headed, Strawberry, Eggplant, and Orange. The rest are map gates, not Night 2 homework:
- Sewers (Day 11+). Sewer Rat, Thief Rat, and Radioactive Rat. Cheese and Radioactive Rat Meat belong in full tins, not panic singles. Biggie Cheese the Rat King is the sewer boss, not a grind dummy.
- Evergreen Science Facility (28 March 2026). Mushroom Zombies on the facility grounds. Bring a plan for the Mad Scientist; the mushrooms are the side farm.
- Bank / Vault (2 May 2026). Golden Carrot Zombies. Rare. Do not spend Golden Carrots in a two-slot pie.
- Food Factory (July 2026, community showcase). Peanut zombies showed in creator footage from the same window as the Bounty Hunter / factory raid. Treat drop tables as community-reported until Discord #out-the-oven prints them.
What to shoot, what to ignore
Nights 1–3: shoot everything on the funnel, grind Zombie Meat, fill six slots. Banana is a badge target if it walks to you, not a reason to leave the door. Night 4+: start sorting Fire from Standard so Bombastica is fed. After Day 11, send one corpse runner into the sewers in the morning — not at dusk — and bring Cheese home. Gardener plants; it does not replace a corpse grind. Butcher at 40 Nuggets can shred in the field. Everyone else still walks bodies to the diner shredder. Fast zombies with Yeast are worth the extra shot. Tanks are still Zombie Meat; they just take longer.
The catalog is a shopping list for the mixer, not a bestiary you study while the generator dies. Name the head, kill it on the night funnel, grind it before it spoils, and let sunrise burn the rest. Fire is ammo. Banana is a badge. Rats are cheese. Peanuts are a factory footnote. If your shelf is empty, you did not have a spawn problem — you had a haul problem.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for diner nights, classes, and pie sells.
When do zombies spawn in Bake or Die?
At night. The diner runs by day; waves walk the funnel after sundown. Sunrise burns leftover undead. You grind corpses in the morning, not during a breach. Night tactics: Survive Nights.
What does a Fire Zombie drop?
Explosive Meat. Mix one Explosive Meat with one Zombie Meat for an Explosive Pie, which is ammo for Bombastica's Kaboom Cannon. Bombastica Level 1 also guarantees a Fire Zombie every night.
How do I get the Gone Bananas badge?
Kill your first Banana Zombie. Gone Bananas is an official Roblox profile badge, not the in-game Nugget scroll. It does not pay Cash and there is no code that skips it.
Do corpses spoil if I explore first?
Yes. Collect and grind before houses, sewers, or the facility. Spoiled meat never becomes a $55 pie. Station order is on How to Play; slot math is on Pie Recipes.
Where do Sewer Rats, Thief Rats, and Radioactive Rats spawn?
In the Sewers from Day 11. They drop Cheese, Rat Meat, and Radioactive Rat Meat. Biggie Cheese is the sewer boss, covered on Beat Bosses. Building gates: map.
Is the Peanut zombie confirmed?
It showed in July 2026 community footage from the Food Factory / Bounty Hunter window. Treat the drop as community-reported until a Discord #out-the-oven note names it. Factory bosses stay on Beat Bosses.
