Bake or Die Classes and Kits

Lobby roster for Bake or Die: what each class starts with, what it costs, and which kit pages to read first.

Players Hub

Players in Bake or Die means classes. You pick a kit in the lobby, spend Gold Nuggets, and drop into a 32-player server with a starter tool and a three-level perk line. Cash from pies still buys guns and repairs during the run. Nuggets are the long currency that changes the next run before it starts. Big Bakers launched the game on 5 April 2025 and is still adding kits in 2026; this hub tracks the shop wall, not a six-class launch screenshot.

There is no code booth that unlocks Bombastica. If you need the short version of that disappointment, the codes hub exists so you stop hunting for one. Earn Nuggets by surviving nights, finishing dailies, and playing the loop, then spend them here.

Roster map

The complete class roster is the table: every cost, starter, and perk summary on one page. Featured kits have full guides because they are the ones players actually argue about:

  • Bombastica — 250 Nuggets, Kaboom Cannon, explosive pies, Fire Zombie passive, Overcharge.
  • Gunslinger — 65 Nuggets, Revolver, the cheapest S-tier gun kit.
  • Necromancer — 300 Nuggets, Undead Staff, soul army, night visibility.
  • Exterminator — 55 Nuggets, Blowpipe, poison spread (June 19 2026).
  • Gardener — 200 Nuggets, Watering Can, farm plots that duplicate ingredients.
  • Bounty Hunter — 450 Nuggets, Pump Shotgun, cash for saves and bosses.
  • Juggernaut — 30 Nuggets, Brass Knuckles, double HP, the first buy.
  • Gladiator — 75 Nuggets, Steel of Mars, Blood stacks, no guns.
  • Doctor — 75 Nuggets, Revive Kit, squad heals. Skip on true solo.
  • Wizard — 600 Nuggets, Wizard Staff, July 2026 prestige spells.

Letter grades live on the class tier list. Use this hub to learn what a kit does; use the tier list to decide whether it is worth the pile. The class picker is the filter if you want “solo gun,” “squad heal,” or “melee only” instead of a wall of names.

How unlocking works

Walk to the class shop in the lobby (or open the classes menu) and pay Nuggets. Owned kits stay owned. Equipping one sets your starter tool for the next match. Leveling a class is a separate in-run track: play the kit, hit the level 2 and level 3 breakpoints, and the perks listed on the roster page switch on. A level 1 Gunslinger is already good. A level 3 Bombastica is a different game.

Two kits cannot be bought. Scavenger (Scrap Magnet) and Mad Scientist (Hand Cannon) are login exclusives. They appear on the roster so you do not think the shop is missing rows. They do not belong on a Nugget savings plan.

What each role is for

Combat kits change how you hold the night: Gunslinger and Bounty Hunter for guns, Gladiator and Butcher for melee, Bombastica and Exterminator for area denial, Necromancer and Mad Scientist for extra bodies. Support kits change how the diner lives: Doctor and Medic for heals, Technician for turrets, Repairman for hammers, Baker and Gardener for food math. Juggernaut is the beginner armor plate. Unicyclist is mobility after the 19 June 2026 patch removed flying.

If you are new, do not collect roles. Buy Juggernaut at 30 Nuggets so you stop dying to chip damage, Gunslinger at 65 so guns reload like they mean it, then Bombastica at 250 when you can keep explosive pies in stock. Squads should find a Doctor. Melee players should read Gladiator (cannot pick up guns) or Butcher before they copy a Gunslinger screenshot.

Bombastica is the wave-clear ceiling. The Kaboom Cannon runs on explosive pies, a Fire Zombie is guaranteed each night, and Overcharge at level 3 is a 20-second ammo panic button with explosion resist and HP on kills. It is expensive, it is S-tier, and it is useless if you never open pie recipes.

Gunslinger is the kit this wiki tells almost everyone to buy second. A free Revolver plus reload, ammo luck, damage, and recoil perks turns the weapons list into a buffet. You still buy two $150 Revolvers. The class makes that pair, and the later SMG, worth the Cash.

Necromancer is the 300 Nugget summoner sitting in A. Souls in, allied zombies out, better vision at night, bigger army at level 3. It does not out-burst Bombastica and it does not out-value Gunslinger. It out-spaces both when you want the diner door held by something that is not your body.

After you pick

Nuggets spent in the lobby do not aim, reload, or bake. Read getting started if the day/night loop is still foggy, nuggets if the shop is still locked behind a tiny pile, and latest updates if a class you wanted just changed. Then come back to the roster table and the three kit pages. The shop will still be there. Your next 65 Nuggets will not, if you dump them into Repairman because it was on sale in your head.

Pick a class, then open its page and the picker before you dump a week of Nuggets into a kit you will never take to level 3. The roster is a menu. The night is the test.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for diner nights, classes, and pie sells.

How many classes are in Bake or Die?

The shop roster as of late August 2026 covers Baker through Wizard, plus login exclusives Scavenger and Mad Scientist. Open the complete roster table for costs and starters.

What currency unlocks classes?

Gold Nuggets in the lobby. Cash from pies buys weapons and repairs during a run and does not unlock classes. There are no working promo codes for kits.

Which class pages have full guides?

Juggernaut, Gunslinger, Gladiator, Bombastica, Doctor, Wizard, plus Necromancer, Exterminator, Gardener, and Bounty Hunter. Everyone else is on the roster.

Can I change class mid-run?

No. Equip a class in the lobby before you join a 32-player server. Starter tools and perk lines apply for that match.

What should a squad buy together?

One Doctor at 75 Nuggets, one wave-clear kit (Bombastica or Exterminator), and one Gunslinger or Gladiator. Do not all buy Baker.
