Bake or Die Official Discord Join Guide
Leave the diner, open Social on the Roblox page, accept the invite, then hit Update roles on Rover.
Bake or Die’s official Discord is the patch channel Big Bakers actually uses. It is also the place a first promo code would appear if a redeem box ever ships. This wiki does not publish a discord.gg slug. Invites rotate, fake slugs phish, and Roblox already exposes the current link on the game page. Join from Social, then let Rover attach your Roblox account so you can see more than a locked lobby.
The sibling pages are the Links Hub and the Big Bakers group guide. Codes status stays on the Codes Hub: still no system, still no strings.
Join from the Roblox Social section
You cannot finish this while you are inside a diner server. The Social block lives on the experience page, not on the pause menu.
- If Bake or Die is open, press the Roblox menu and Leave. Confirm so you land back on the website or app page, not on a new auto-rejoin.
- Open the Bake or Die Roblox page. On mobile, tap the experience title if you landed in a thin play view.
- Scroll down until you see Social. The row includes a Discord logo. It is easy to miss if you stop at badges, votes, or the like button.
- Select the Discord logo, then Continue. Roblox hands you off to a browser or the Discord app with the current invite.
- Accept invite. If Discord asks you to log in, use your real Discord account. Do not create a throwaway on a page that is not Discord.
- In the server list, open Bake or Die. On the left you should see Rover or a verification prompt. Run Update roles (wording is “Update roles” on Rover) so the bot can see the Roblox account linked to that Discord user.
- Wait for roles to apply. Channels that were greyed out, including announcement space, should open. If they do not, leave and re-run Rover rather than asking for a new invite in a random YouTube comment.
Have Discord installed or the browser logged in before you tap Continue. The handoff fails silently if the client never finishes loading.
Why Rover is not optional
The server uses Rover to prove you own a Roblox account. Without the role update you sit in a reduced channel list and miss the only feed that matters for gameplay news. Rover is not a Bake or Die gift code. It does not drop Gold Nuggets or Cash. Anyone who DMs you a “verify here” site after you join is not the bot. Kick that DM and stay on the official Rover prompt inside the server.
If Rover says it cannot find your Roblox user, confirm you accepted the Roblox Social invite on the same Discord account you are using now. Switching Discord accounts after the invite is the usual failure. Linking the wrong Roblox alt is the second.
Why #out-the-oven matters
Once roles land, find #out-the-oven. That is the developer-facing patch channel the community treats as the changelog. Notes from liltreeha and the rest of Big Bakers about classes, bosses, furniture, and bug fixes show up there before aggregator sites notice the Roblox updated timestamp. This wiki’s updates hub, latest patch, and patch notes exist to translate those drops for people who were in a night wave when the post went up.
#out-the-oven is also the honest codes watch. Bake or Die still has zero active codes and zero expired codes because there is no redeem UI. If that ever changes, the string will be posted here first, then mirrored on the Codes Hub and how to redeem. A YouTube compilation is not a substitute for that channel.
Other channels (questions, clips, looking-for-group) are useful, but they are not sources of record. Pin #out-the-oven, mute the rest if you only want patches.
What not to do
- Do not google a discord.gg code and paste it. Clone servers scrape icons and then phish Rover.
- Do not stay in the diner and hunt a Discord button on the HUD. It is not there. Social is on the Roblox page.
- Do not skip Rover and then complain the server is empty. You are looking at the unverified view.
- Do not trust a Trello linked in chat. There is no confirmed public Trello; the Links Hub says so on purpose.
- Do not download a “Discord reward script.” That is the scripts problem wearing a nitro skin.
After you are in
Join the Big Bakers group as well. Shouts still reach players who never open Discord. Like the experience on the Roblox page so the lobby reminder can resolve. Then play: getting started if you are new, Nuggets if you are saving for a class, survive nights if you keep losing the diner at sundown.
If Rover never finishes, you will sit in a locked lobby of channels and miss #out-the-oven. Fix the bot before you ask why patch notes look empty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for diner nights, classes, and pie sells.
Why will this wiki not paste a Discord invite?
Invites change and fake slugs phish. Roblox Social on the [game page](https://www.roblox.com/games/86479448397834/Bake-or-Die) always points at the current official invite.
Can I join Discord while I am still in a diner server?
No. Leave the experience first, then scroll the Roblox page to Social. The pause menu does not host the invite.
What is Rover doing?
It links your Discord user to a Roblox account and assigns roles. Without Update roles you will not see #out-the-oven and the rest of the verified channels.
Does joining Discord give Gold Nuggets or codes?
No. Rover is not a gift. Bake or Die still has no codes; watch #out-the-oven and the Codes Hub if that ever changes.
Where do patch notes appear first?
#out-the-oven, then Big Bakers shouts, then this wiki's updates pages.
I accepted the invite but every channel is locked. What now?
Run Rover's Update roles on the same Discord account that accepted the Roblox Social invite. Then return to the Links Hub if you still need the group or game page.
