Bake or Die Blueprints

Rescue NPCs for Auto Turret, craft Advanced at Technician Level 3, and unlock Ray Gun without confusing it for a class gun.

Bake or Die Blueprints

Blueprints in Bake or Die are the crafts you do not buy off the Gunsmith wall. You rescue them, you drop them from bosses, or a class unlocks a higher tier of the same bench. Cash from pies still pays the metal and the ammo. Gold Nuggets still buy the class in the lobby. Servers still hold 32 players. Big Bakers released the Roblox diner on 2025-04-05; it is still live as of the 6 September 2026 Roblox stamp, with no code redemption box. This page is the bench: what to rescue, what it costs, and what is actually a class-locked gun pretending to be a craft. For the Cash gun ladder, use the weapon tier list. For where the NPCs live, use the map. For which kit to buy before you care about Advanced turrets, use the Class Picker.

Rescue NPCs first

Daytime order from How to Play does not change: collect corpses before they spoil, grind, bake six-slot pies, then craft, shop, and rescue. Dilapidated houses hide trapped people. Saving them is how the Auto Turret plan enters a fresh diner. Do not start a desert rescue until a tin is in the oven. Do not stay out at dusk. A blueprint in your inventory does not fire at night if you never crafted it, and a crafted turret does not fire if you never bought ammo.

On a 32-player server, call the rescue. Two people looting the same house while the baker is idle is how shared Cash dies. One explorer, one oven, one door plan. Sunrise still burns leftover undead; it will not walk an NPC home for you.

Auto Turret — about 10 Metal

Auto Turret is the first blueprint that changes nights. Community craft cost sits around 10 Metal. Place it covering the single diner funnel, not the open desert. It eats Gunsmith ammo — restock before sundown or it goes silent mid-wave. Technician at 45 Gold Nuggets starts closer to turret play (Barbed Wire, an Auto Turret, Pro Wrench) but you do not need that class to use a rescued blueprint. Most squads should craft this before any spike gadget if they only have one blueprint window.

Metal comes from scavenging and daytime loot, not from the lobby Nugget shop. If you skip pies to ‘save for the turret,’ you will have a recipe and no plates. A silent turret is a coat rack. Budget Gunsmith plates the same way you budget SMG mags.

Advanced Auto Turret — Technician Level 3

Advanced Auto Turret is the upgrade. Technician Level 3 unlocks the craft. The reported bench cost is 5 Wood + 15 Metal. That is a class-gated blueprint, not a second NPC rescue. If nobody on the server bought Technician, you still hold nights with the basic Auto Turret plus dual Revolvers. Open the Class Picker before you spend 45 Nuggets ‘for the turret’ — the rescued basic turret already exists, and the class roster is the fact sheet for that 45-Nugget row.

Place Advanced the same way: one funnel, ammo budgeted, generator alive in the back room under the yellow high-voltage sign. Three turrets facing three doors is how you go broke. Technician Level 2 also doubles turret ammo and lets you place more freely; that perk is why the class is a carpenter, not a Night 1 carry.

Ray Gun from the Mad Scientist / facility

The Ray Gun is an Evergreen Science Facility project (28 March 2026). Defeat the Mutated Evil Scientist / Mad Scientist for the blueprint, or assemble Barrel, Core, Gage, and Handle on the map, then craft at the blueprints table. It is S-tier on the gun list and useless on Night 2. Day-skip is the other facility unlock; it changes how long you stay in the loop, not how you hold Night 1.

Login-exclusive Mad Scientist (the class with the Hand Cannon) is a different object. Do not confuse the lobby exclusive with the map boss that drops the energy gun plan. You cannot buy that class with Nuggets, and a rescued NPC will not hand you a Hand Cannon.

Reconstructor Machine

The same facility fight drops the Reconstructor Machine blueprint. Patch notes describe it as a gun upgrade bench with unique skins. Treat it as a late-run quality station after the diner already prints $55 pies, not as the first craft you race. If the squad is still on a single Revolver, the Reconstructor is a trophy. Bring it up after Auto Turret ammo is a habit, not after one lucky facility clear while Night 4 walls are still cardboard.

Bat Rifle — community-reported

Players have reported a Bat Rifle blueprint in later footage. This wiki has not seen a dated Discord #out-the-oven row that names the bench cost or the dropper. If you find it, craft it after the Auto Turret and after ammo is funded. Do not reroute a Night 4 Blood Moon to hunt a community gun. When Big Bakers prints the row, it belongs here with a date.

Other plans that show up in the same economy: Auto Mixer (community drop from Biggie Cheese — parks overflow for the next pie), Wrench (2 May 2026 Bank / Vault — moves placeables). Storage Shelf left the blueprint table for the Furniture Store in that same May patch. Those are quality-of-life benches. They do not replace the turret that covers the door.

Gunsmith vs craft vs class-locked

Three unlock lanes, easy to mix up:

  1. Gunsmith (Cash). Revolvers $150 each, Butcher knife $200, M1 Garand, Sawed-Off, SMG $1,250, later Exo Rifle around $14,500, Minigun, Za Vonderblaste. No blueprint. Shared bank.
  2. Blueprint table (rescue / boss / metal). Auto Turret, Advanced Auto Turret, Ray Gun, Reconstructor, Wrench, Auto Mixer, and community items such as the Bat Rifle. You still pay Cash or scrap to craft and to feed ammo.
  3. Class-locked (Gold Nuggets in the lobby). Kaboom Cannon on Bombastica, Undead Staff on Necromancer, Blowpipe on Exterminator, Pump Shotgun on Bounty Hunter, Steel of Mars on Gladiator (who cannot pick up guns). The class roster is that shop. A blueprint will not spawn a Kaboom Cannon.

Craft the turret that covers the door. Buy the Revolvers that cover the turret reload. Save Nuggets for the class you will actually level. A blueprint is not a Gunsmith SKU and not a class. Rescue the NPC, pay the metal, and put the turret on the funnel. The Ray Gun can wait until the diner already prints pies without thinking.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for diner nights, classes, and pie sells.

How do I get blueprints in Bake or Die?

Rescue trapped NPCs in dilapidated houses during the day for Auto Turret and other early plans. Later bosses drop Ray Gun and Reconstructor. House locations: map. Day order: How to Play.

How much does Auto Turret cost to craft?

Community craft cost is about 10 Metal. Place it on the diner funnel and restock Gunsmith ammo before night. You do not need Technician to use a rescued Auto Turret.

How do I craft Advanced Auto Turret?

Technician Level 3 unlocks it. Reported cost is 5 Wood + 15 Metal. Compare that 45-Nugget class on the class roster or the Class Picker before you buy it only for the upgrade.

Is the Ray Gun a Gunsmith weapon?

No. Unlock Evergreen Science Facility, beat the Mad Scientist for the blueprint, or assemble Barrel, Core, Gage, and Handle, then craft it. Rank and Cash guns: weapon tier list.

What does the Reconstructor Machine do?

It is a facility blueprint that upgrades guns with unique skins. Craft it after the diner already funds turrets and ammo. It is not a Night 1 bench.

Is the Bat Rifle a confirmed craft?

Community-reported only. This wiki has not seen a dated Discord note for cost or dropper. Craft Auto Turret first. Do not skip a Blood Moon to hunt an unlisted gun.
